Aberdeen Grammar Rugby is an open and inclusive club founded in 1893 with two adult male teams operating at National and Regional level, a full complement of youth teams and ambitions to form an adult women’s team within the next 2 years. The club has 15 qualified adult coaches at level 2 or 3. We welcome players of all ability levels and endeavour and are always seeking volunteers and social members to make the club a welcoming, inclusive and family friendly environment, which is attested to by the 250 youth players (boys and girls) at the club.

We are a well managed, mature club with all the appropriate safeguards in place to ensure the welfare of players from the youngest children to the adult playing sides. The benefits of joining are listed on each membership page however full medical and physiotherapy support, including mental health, is provided at all levels. Membership fee support is available for players/parents on restricted income and access to short term accommodation at our clubhouse "The Great Western Hotel" is available at discounted rates for players and/or their family visiting Aberdeen.

There are regular mini/junior and senior social events throughout the season, plus an annual Christmas lunch and end of season dinner/prizegiving to which all members and supporters are invited.
